Hi Glenn,
Sorry been really busy and just getting back to Forums...
Crystal Reports has ALWAYS looked for the Oracle client in the PATH statement.
Open a CMD window and type in "path", you should see something like this:
C:\Users\****>path
PATH=c:\app\I819003\product\11.2.0\client_2\bin;c:\app\I819003\product\11.2.0\client_1\bin;
C:\Users\****>
If you don't see Oracle in the PATH then simply add it. I recall now there was one version of Oracle 10 that for some unknown reason did not add their folder to the PATH statement. You may want to upgrade the client...
For a Server the path should be in the Adminsitrators account so be sure to install the Oracle client under the local PC Admin account and if asked make sure you select the option for All Users on install.
