In COPA assessment, the receiver tracing factor finalization totally depends on the receivers you mention, based on the receivers you mentions system is going to consider the different combination of characteristic values as different receivers (we call them as PSGs).

For example:

In your case, characteristic values are...

1. PU Unit
2. Level 3 Characteristic
3. Product Group (Its a set consisting of product group 1, product group 2 and product group 3)

The system is going to create these many PSGs as receivers:

1. PU Unit1-level 3 Characteristic - product group 1
2. PU Unit1-level 3 Characteristic - product group 2
3. PU Unit1-level 3 Characteristic - product group 3

Coming to your question, by giving product group as receiver, system will not consider all the products under that particular group as receiver.

So if you want to consider products as receivers, you need to mention those characteristic values also as receivers.
