Moreover, you have suggested that the Opening Balance Offset Ac is zero. But in my question I had asked: "However, in that case, the credit GL account will be probably a different GL account than the one which is used as Opening Balance control account for other GLs."
In such case, the Opening Balance Offset Ac will not be zero.
Of course, we can transfer the balance manually and make it zero.
But I want to know whether people use the same Opening Balance Offset GL for normal GLs Opening Balance as well as for Inventory Balance, or different? If they use different, do they actually transfer the balance from Inventory Opening Balance GL to Other GLs Opening Balance GL? And whether anyone enters the Inventory Opening Balance GL directly without going through the Inventory Opening Balance document?
